I have a question. Can my skill as a salesman sharing my belief in a great product, strengthen my ability to share my faith?

Yes! The benefits of a relationship with Jesus sells itself as does a great product.

Can you explain that to me?

First, what’s hard about selling?

I explain how the product will benefit but they don’t believe it.

I believe remaining patient & teachable yourself, & coming alongside of them & gently but confidently addressing their doubts will win some over.

People’s fear & unbelief is the enemy, not doubt. Honest doubt leads to honest questions, which leads to the sincere, honest, truth, that’ll help them.

Salesmen do what parents do: Parents guide children away from fear & unbelief & towards being patient & teachable.

Acting patient & teachable; helps people be patient & teachable. This makes them feel safe & accepted & brings down their defensiveness & unbelief.

Be patient with doubts & some will be patient to allow you to show them how an honest question is answered by the truth & leads away from fear & unbelief & into faith in Jesus.

“Jesus’s the way, the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father but by Jesus (John 14:6).”

A working definition of truth is: The actual state of affairs contrasted with rumor, false report & mythology. What’s real, actual, true & genuine.

“Spirit, guide me to see how honest doubt can lead to the honest questions & the honest Biblical answers that will lead an honest person to faith. Amen.”
