Can you define Divine joy?

A deep, sense of well-being & steadfast confidence in the abundant goodness in the ongoing leading of the Spirit.

Can you define natural happiness?

Seeking to gain a deep sense of well-being through favorable: circumstances, relationships, possessions, achievements, positions, & admiration etc.

Is it true that the pursuit of natural happiness may yield important things but it’s rooted in the illusion of a human utopia or human perfection which is an illusion that doesn’t exist?

Yes. The most successful people say this. For example, Tom Brady: “There has to be more, but what is the more?”

If my heart has a God shaped vacuum that no created thing can fill, what’s the Bible say?

God built a vacuum in us. This draws us to search out & find the deepest enjoyment in relationships which is found in the truth that Jesus loves people with the same intensity with which God loves Jesus.

How do you know that is true?

The Bible says it clearly in 2 truths, 1 command & 1 promise; given in the 3 verses below:

“As the Father loves (Jesus), (Jesus) also (has) loved You; abide in (Jesus) love. If you keep (Jesus) commandments, you will abide in (Jesus) love, just as (Jesus has) kept (Jesus) Father’s commandments & abide in His love. These things ( Jesus has) spoken to you, that (Jesus’s) joy may remain in you, & that your joy may be full (John 15:9-11).”

“Father, strengthen me to see & to believe the 2 truths, 1 command & 1 promise, & open my eyes & heart to see & have the faith to experience the Divine joy of abiding in Jesus’s love, obeying His commands & experiencing the joy of Jesus consistently remaining in me & growing to fullness. Holy Spirit guide me into all truth & teach me these & all things. Amen.”
