It seems darkness trumps light?

“The light shines in the darkness & the darkness does not overcome it (John 1:5).”

Darkness cannot overcome the power of Jesus dwelling in us.

Why then does it seem like it?

Because darkness exists. The lighthouse doesn’t remove it, it lights a path to safe harbor thru the darkness of trouble & storm.

The light of Christ’s power in us can’t be overcome by darkness. But we must stay in faith, following the light to overcome…

John 8:12- He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness…(1 John 4:4) greater is He that is in you than (Satan) in the world.”

“Lord, we praise You for surrounding us with Your presence, power & light. Enable us to have a willing heart to repent, be revived & restored by the Spirit so we can follow & be faithful & obedient to Your light. Teach us to seek Your face: Humbling ourselves with a lifestyle of prayer & fasting. Waiting with joyful expectation on Your Spirit & Word to sanctify us with the Spirit’s goodness, power & wisdom so Your love can flow thru us to transform all whom we pray for & love. Amen”

Partial Fast: Dec 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
