Questions, Answers & Prayer:

God withdrew His presence due to the sin of God’s people. Moses stood & prayed between God & their sin. The people repented. Moses led prayer & God’s presence returned.

Is this when revival begins?

No! Moses was grateful for the amazing return of God’s presence but not satisfied.

Led by the Spirit, Moses went to God’s tent, pleading with God for something startling, with a burden & desperate need for a closer bond with Him & revival.

Moses prayed for what exactly?

He felt a hunger & thirst for more of God & for something bigger & deeper beyond what He’d been given & promised:

“God, we’re impotent & weak. Give a great show of Your presence & power so nations know we belong to You. Amen.”

How did Paul pray for revival?

“God, enable speaking with power, confirming Your word.”

“My speech & preaching were not with clever human wisdom but revealing the power of the Spirit: that your faith does not stand in man’s wisdom but in the power of God (1 Cor 2:3-5).”

“Father, help us bond with You & rely on You more deeply. Help us be faithful & obedient. Lead us to listen, love & speak as You do. Release Your power to confirm Your Word above & beyond how You released power in Acts chapters 2, 4 & 10; & send us revival making it plain that we’re Your people, loving & speaking as You do. Help us represent You well: Then say, “Yes, these are mine!” Amen.”
