How can you pray effectively?

Ask the Spirit to show you God’s attitude toward you & prayer.

So, I don’t pray well due to false ideas about how God feels about me & my prayers?

Yes. The devil sells God as: Irritable. Putting a stop to enjoying myself. Wanting to keep me out of His presence.

So, the mindset that God doesn’t want to be bothered by: me, my needs & my prayers, takes away my motive to pray?

Yes. The Bible tells me God is: Delighted in me & my prayers. Willing to hear & listen with great pleasure & keen interest.

It’s a lie that God: tolerates me, is annoyed or aloof when I pray?

Correct. God delights in & loves to hear me talk to Him in prayer.

One verse represents the dozens of verses that say so:

“The prayer of the upright is God’s delight (Proverbs 15:8).”

“Spirit, help my eyes see how excited you are to listen to me & my prayers with pleasure, keen interest & to grant them. Amen.”

“Ask & it’ll be given… Everyone who asks receives (Mt 7:7-8).”
