I want to listen & consider my feelings but I don’t want to let my feelings convince me to choose something impulsive or hurtful. I want a prayer to ask God to enable me to start & finish the day choosing what’s best for me?

“Father, I praise You for this quiet moment so I can affirm who I am, whose I am, & why I’m here on earth. Strengthen me to love You with all of my heart & to do my best to please You in all I do. Prepare my heart to seek & please You with all my heart, praise & obedience. I need You & claim Your presence & direction in all I do & say. Guide me to follow Your light & turn away from darkness in every decision. Keep me close to You abiding in You, & obeying all Your commands. When this day ends may my joy be in that I received Your best for me & did my best for You. In the name of the Father, Son, & the Spirit. Amen.”
