Questions, Answers & Prayers:

In praying for a nation, in rebellion, can the remnant have faith in seeking restoration?

“Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, spoke the Lord’s message to the people…I am with you…so the Lord stirred up…the spirit of all the remnant of the people; & they came (the message of the prophet stirred them up a renewed desire & energy to obey God’s will) (Hag 1:12-14)… Be strong, all you people…& work; for I am with you, says the Lord…According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear… The Lord says…once more I will shake Heaven & earth, the sea & dry land; & I will come to shake all nations, & they shall come to (Jesus) the Desire of All Nations, & I will fill this temple with glory…& in this place I will give peace, says the Lord (The Spirit is a vital part of God’s covenant. The Spirit remains with you. The Spirit removes fear: “Do not fear!… Hag 2:4-9).”

“Lord, we praise You that the Spirit thru the words of the prophet Haggai is calling to us. We cry out for mercy. We repent of our sin & the sin of our people. We set our hearts to obey the assignment You have for us. Lord, let mercy triumph over judgment. From this day lead us into Your heart of goodness & blessing…the word of the Lord came to Haggai… I will shake heaven & earth…I’ve chosen you, says the Lord (Hag 2:20-23)”

Partial Fast: Sept 2-9 50-80% normal eating: 2-9, each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
