Tell how God powerfully guides us thru worship, prayer & fasting in the early church & now?

Acts 13:1-2 “certain prophets & teachers…worshipped the Lord & fasted…the Spirit said…separate to me Barnabus & Saul for the work…I have called them”

The wisdom to separate Barnabus & Saul came only after worship, prayer & fasting.

Acts 13:3 “Then having fasted & prayed..they sent them”

Then after worship, prayer & fasting a 2nd time the Spirit leads them to send out the 1st apostles

“Father, have mercy on us. Teach us to enter Your presence with thanksgiving, praise & worship. Spirit, we welcome You to come fill our hearts & lives with Your power, love & wisdom. Lift us up in Your light, up out of darkness. We shout “Jesus Christ is Lord”Help us serve You with joy. Enable us to fast in a regular way. We are Your people. When we worship & pray: Guide us in Your wisdom as the sheep of Your pasture-Adapt Ps 100- Amen”
