Questions, Answers & Prayer:

I’m confused. If God promises to take care of the needs of those who: humble themselves, pray, seek & obey Him & turn away from sin: Does faith give an automatic exemption from hardships, trials, or tragedy?

No! There’s no life without pain.

Difficulties don’t mean the people going through them have less faith than those untouched.

So, the same faith that enables some to escape distress enables others to endure it?

Yes! The same faith delivering one from death helps another to die bravely, to save a loved one.

So, faith isn’t a bridge over stormy seas but a way through?

Yes! In general, hear & obey God & He will provide, bless, protect & prosper you in every way: But He also promises that those obeying Him will have trouble.

How can faith prevail over fear?

Meditating on & speaking God’s Word when facing & dealing with obstacles: Brings the presence of God & disarms fear.

Where does the Bible say that?

“(Acts 18:9) The Lord spoke to Paul… Do not be afraid, but speak, do not keep silent; for I am with you, & no one will attack you to hurt you.”

How do I follow His heart?

Ask God for strength to:

1) See Jesus as your source.

2) See Jesus as the way to refuel with Divine joy for life.

3) See God’s perspective. Your confidence is not in yourself. Your confidence is in God & in your ability to “remain under” His Word, Spirit & leadership.
