Questions, Answers & Prayer:

May I test the premise that the entire Bible differentiates between the primary blessing of Jesus & the secondary blessings flowing from Jesus?

Be my guest. Test away!

How about when the disciples rejoiced: “The demons are subject to us,” after Jesus gave them authority over all the power of the enemy?

Jesus said, “Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject to you (secondary blessings) but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven (primary blessing).”

So, Jesus is basically saying,

“As amazing as it is, don’t rejoice in the secondary blessing, that the demons are subject to you but rather rejoice in the primary blessing that your name is written in heaven?”

Precisely, rejoice 1st, in the primary blessing of your relationship with Jesus & then enjoy the secondary blessings flowing from Him; the Source.

Jesus warns of the danger of becoming too comfy &

preoccupied with the amazing secondary blessings only to neglect the source & first love?

“(Jesus said) All things have been delivered to Me by My Father (Luke 10:18-23).”

Jesus is saying: All My blessings, primary & secondary are delivered to Me by My Father. Trust Me as I trust Him.
