My heart is true but I’m under spiritual attack. More is piling up & going wrong. The pressure from the test I’m facing is causing me to hunger for & seek the Spirit to lead me into practical wisdom & deeper levels of strength & maturity. Is there a good Biblical model to follow?

In Romans Chpt 5, Paul says to stand in grace & rejoice in hardships which produce character & hope. James says, (1:2-5), in trials to: Rejoice. Be patient. Seek God for wisdom. Expect deep growth in maturity.

In Judges 3:7-11, Othniel is a great model of a man whose heart was poised to trust, obey & follow God to victory though he was called upon against all odds…”Israel cried out to God…God raised up a deliverer…Othniel…The Spirit of the Lord came upon him…He went out to war…Othniel’s hand prevailed.”

“Lord, increase my hunger to seek more strength, wisdom & goodness of the Holy Spirit so that my heart is poised to fully trust, obey & follow as You empower me to: Stand in grace. Fight “from the victory already won” by Christ. Know that no weapon formed will prosper. Rejoice in all. Be patient. Seek God for wisdom. Expect deep growth in maturity. Amen.”

Partial Fast: Oct 2-9 (7 Day) or 2-23 (21 Day) 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
