In Psalm 54 David fears his enemies & asks God for help so how can he trust, obey & have unwavering confidence in God?

David sets his heart to trust & obey God based on God’s history of responding with goodness, provision & protection when David asks for what he needs.

But how’s David conquer fear?

He conquers fear by as he worships God for His faithfulness & steadfast love & care. David’s heart is fixed on promises kept & promises made more than fear. Fear is conquered the moment David says yes to God’s word.

“Save me, God…by Your strength…Hear my prayer…oppressors (seek) my life… God is my helper…The Lord is with…my life…He (repays) enemies for evil…I will…worship You…praise Your name…it is good…God has delivered me out of all trouble

(Psalm 54:1-7). Amen.”

“Lord, we worship You because no one else can love & care for us the way You do. We trust the wonderful, prosperous plans & peaceful & abundant future that You have for us. We conquer fear the moment we choose to trust & obey the fact that You cannot fail & always bring goodness. Amen”

Partial Fast: Nov 2-9 (7 Day) or 2-23 (21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
