Questions, Answers & Prayer:
We pray God gives us leaders in family, civil & church govt. such that He can: Glorify Himself thru them. Give us victory & peace. Give us shepherds after God’s own heart. But how can I have peace of mind about the future?
God’s peace isn’t the absence of something. It’s the presence of Someone. Peace isn’t the absence of distressing things. Peace is found by putting complete trust in the presence & leadership of Jesus. Separate external things that bring turmoil from the deep inner peace of abiding in the Spirit. Do your best to cooperate with Him & to help others to trust & obey Him.
If we can’t fully control outcomes does that mean I can’t have peace about my family, leaders, city, church, America, Israel etc?
God’s peace doesn’t come by trusting in leaders or any of the other things that are important.
God’s peace comes by complete trust in the leadership & presence of Jesus. To the best of our ability we’re guided by His wisdom, goodness & power. We have a duty to do our best to pray & work to resist evil & guide things in God’s ways but we must trust the Lord for outcomes.
Prepare the horses for battle but the victory belongs to the Lord?
Precisely! God’s peace comes only from trusting God’s leadership. Do your best to obey. The plans come from the heart of man…the Lord orders the steps.
“Lord, I trust Your presence & Your leadership. Help my family, leaders, city, church, America, Israel etc. Give me great insight to do my best to pray, fast & work hard at goals & plans to bring repentance, revival & restoration to all these areas. Help me trust in the root of Christ & know that Your peace comes only from Your leadership & presence. Amen.”
Partial Fast: Nov 2-9 (7 Day) or 2-23 (21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & a remnant will stand with Israel.
