My faith to walk in obedience to God’s covenant with Abraham & receive the blessings depend on whether God’s word says that I’m a descendant of Abraham?

“If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise

(Galatians 3:29).”

Amazing! Give an example of God freely releasing the blessings to a heart of obedience in one of Abraham’s descendants?

Christ fulfilled the covenant God made with Abraham. The Old & New Testament proclaim God’s loyalty to keep the promises in all who hear & obey God’s voice.

“The Lord…said to Isaac… Don’t go to Egypt… Dwell in this land & I will be with you & bless you…& your descendants… Then Isaac sowed in that land & reaped in the same year a hundredfold; & the Lord blessed him… Isaac began to prosper; & continued prospering until he became very prosperous (Gen 26:2-3; 12:13).”

“Father, we praise You for Your faithfulness to fulfill Your covenant to all who rely on You to walk in the Spirit. In weakness, give us Your strength. Fill our emptiness & our loneliness & restore our broken pieces. Enable us to cling to You & to be faithful to walk with You. Amen.”
