Questions, Answers & Prayer:

I’m feeling overwhelmed. I’ve done my best to please God but I’ve met with mistakes & failure. Can you offer a Biblical insight?

“…the Lord will judge His people and have compassion on His servants when He sees their strength is gone (Deut 32:36).”

Is this relevant to your situation?

Yes, God knows I’m trying to please Him. If I keep trusting Him & doing my best, He will guide me to grow in grace & victory.

I agree. Abraham was overwhelmed. At age 99 God had failed to fulfill His promise. God said, “I’m Almighty God (El Shaddai),” which is used when there’s no hope in the natural realm. When nothing, humanly, can be done, that’s when God brings His biggest miracles. God asks Abraham to believe. He did.

Like Moses, overwhelmed, between the Red Sea & Pharaoh. Instead of giving up, Moses put his faith in God who told him what to do. Only God could overwhelm with grace & part the Red Sea. Moses part was, by faith, to extend the stick out.

Can you break it down further?

We cannot earn grace. We learn to cooperate with grace. All human wisdom, goodness & power, apart from Christ, will eventually fail. Grace is God doing for you what you cannot do for yourself. We fail doing it on our own. We fail asking God to do it Himself. We succeed if we come to Him, cooperate with Him so the Spirit can do it thru us.

“God’s strength’s made perfect in weakness… when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Cor 12:9)

“All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)”

… & to trust & obey. Amen.”
