How did Jacob wait for God?

Jacob was poised to respond to God’s initiative. He desperately grabbed onto God as his only hope. He didn’t let go until God enabled him & showed the way.

Waiting for God’s like lying in wait to ambush God who wants to be ambushed…”(Jer 29:13) you will seek Me & find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Jacob’s brother intends to kill him. He can’t protect himself. He doesn’t know what to do. He has a great desire for the enabling, blessing & leading of God.

The quest to know God better & love Him more brings change. Just being able to follow our hearts desire to know God—- brings transformation by love.

“I, the Lord (the vine) keep (Jacob/the branch), I (the vine) water (Jacob/the branch) every moment… let (Jacob) take hold of My strength, that (Jacob) may make peace with Me; & (Jacob) shall make peace with Me. Those who come He shall cause to take root in Jacob…shall blossom & bud & fill…the world with fruit (Adapted Isaiah 27:2-6). Amen.”

Partial Fast: August 2-9 50-80% normal eating: 2-9, each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
