Receiving blessings or favor from the Lord must be surrendered back to God so I exalt Christ not myself. Solomon back-slid from surrendering blessings back to God. He began to long for the blessings more than His loving Lord who was giving them. Give an example of how to be faithful to steward blessing & favor?

In 2 Cor 12:7-10 Paul is in danger of exalting himself in God-given revelations. Rather than exalting himself Paul humbles himself & surrenders the blessings back to God. Paul bows low so the power of Christ can rest upon him. He denies self so the humility of Christ might live in him. Paul exalts Christ & humbles himself.

1 Peter 5:5-7 “Submit…be submissive to one another…clothed with humility…God resists the proud…gives grace to the humble…humble yourselves under God’s mighty hand that He may exalt you in due time.”

“Lord, have mercy on me. Help me grow from the life-giving root of humility & servanthood & to reject the poisonous root of pride, selfish ambition & an arrogant heart. Help me to love You, Lord with all my heart & to hunger & thirst for righteousness so I can be filled with Your Spirit & clothed with Your goodness, wisdom & power. Let the peace of Christ rule in my heart. Amen.”

Partial Fast: Feb 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
