Many scholars agree that the two greatest lists of promises in the Bible are: Isaiah 58:1-14 & Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Does the Deut list of promises apply to fasting as the Isaiah list does?
Yes! The Deut list has the condition that you hear & obey all God’s commands. Fasting is one.
If you surrender, love & obey all God’s commands & fast with your whole heart what will happen?
Deut 28:1-14 “If you diligently obey…all His commands…the Lord…will set you above all nations…all (below)…blessings shall come upon you…(You’ll be) blessed in the city…in the country…Blessed the fruit of your body, the produce of the ground…increase of…herds…cattle…flocks…blessed basket…kneading bowl…when you come in…when you go out…the Lord will cause your enemies…to be defeated…God will command the blessing…in your storehouse…in all…He will bless you in the land…God will establish you a holy people…all peoples…shall see you’re called by His name and…be afraid of you…God will grant you plenty of goods…God will open to you His good treasure…give you rain…you shall lend…but not borrow…the Lord will make you the head not the tail…you shall be above only…not beneath. If you…are careful to observe all (My commands)…(and) not turn aside from any (of the commands) to go after…(false) gods to serve them. Amen.”

Partial Fast: Feb 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
