Job learned the lesson of 1 Thess 5:16-18. Can you explain that?

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks…this is the will of God in Christ… (1 Thess 5:16-18)”

Job learns that whatever happens if you can stay trusting, surrendered & obeying God & speaking the truth then God will bring the best outcome.

So how did Job learn that?

Things looked hopeless. Job’s wife lost faith & told Job: Shake your fist at God, curse Him & die.

Job discovered that God can be completely trusted to take whatever happens including the devil’s evil & to remake it into the best thing that could have happened if you trust His plan.

Job said, “No matter what happens to me I’ll not lose faith in the goodness & power of God. I’ll trust & follow Him. I may not understand now but, even so, if I’ll trust & obey Him then I’ll know later of the wisdom of His plan.”

Lord, enable me to obey the command to have a thankful & joyous spirit in whatever happens & to trust Your justice & power to bring the best outcome. When hopeless: Express concerns to God but trust & obey Him, even so! Acknowledge a problem yet rejoice anyway, by faith. Rejoice in this way: Fullness of joy is released. Hurt, loss, sorrow & fear are processed toward inner healing. The light in Your eyes & countenance rejoices the hearts of others as Jesus has radiated His joy & strength to you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Partial Fast: Feb 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
