Explain the meaning of, 1 Thess 5:16-18, so I can apply it to life?

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks…this is the will of God in Christ… (1 Thess 5:16-18)”

It is God’s will that you obey this command & be enabled with a thankful & joyous spirit. Receive this grace & let it flow from you into a daily habit: Rejoice always. Pray unceasingly. Give thanks in all. Depend fully on God & ask for the desire to please Him & to trust & obey Him in all. When discouraged or hopeless express your honest concerns to God but trust & obey Him, even so! When things are beyond your control & you don’t know what to do or pray? Ask the Spirit for power & receive it. Rejoice & pray in the Spirit with thanksgiving during storms & peace. Acknowledging a problem yet rejoicing anyway, by faith, is a great spiritual force that removes demonic intent & allows God to work even in the difficulty to bring you goodness. Rejoice in this way: Fullness of joy is released. Hurt, loss, sorrow & fear are processed toward inner healing. The light in Your eyes & countenance rejoices the heart of others as Jesus has radiated His joy & strength to you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

“Father, I trust & obey the above command. I receive it as done. I trust the Spirit to bring it. Amen”

Partial Fast: Dec 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
