I need help w/ 1 Thess chapter 1. Explain any four verses to me:

1:3-4 Ask God to enable you to live by faith including: Work that flows from faith & from a heart of love. Patient endurance flowing from hope. Remember that you’re loved & chosen in Christ.

1:5 Pray & watch for a chance to speak God’s word boldly. Ask to receive power to be a joyful witness & for the Spirit’s work!

1:10 Set your heart on Jesus. Pray & wait w/ joyful expectation for His coming. Give thanks to Him who rescues us from wrath.

(1 Thess 1:3,4,5,10) “Remember without ceasing your work of faith…of love…patience of hope in our Lord…in the sight…God…knowing your election by God…our gospel did not come…in word only, but also in power…in the…Spirit…in much assurance…to wait for His Son…whom He raised from the dead…Jesus…delivers us from the wrath to come.”

“Father, enable me to turn to the Spirit as my teacher. Help me hear, receive & apply Your word as I walk by faith. I pray the same for all authority in civil, family & church govt. including President Trump & all loved ones. Amen”

Partial Fast: Dec 2-9 or 2-23 (7 or 21 Day) 25 to 50% normal eating 2-9 or 2-23 each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & remnant will stand with Israel.
