Is there a proven path for victory & peace over lustful thoughts?

Stay in faith & stand on God’s promises for three things: 1) The victory is won thru the blood & peace of the cross of Jesus. 2) The Spirit is given to lead You in victory. 3) In full surrender follow Jesus w/ victory already in mind.

Decide ahead of time what to do?

Joseph planned to flee boldly if Potiphar’s wife attacked him.

How to resolve sinful thoughts & how to plan for victory & peace?

When convicted of sin confess your sin quick, be cleansed & push delete. The blood covers guilt, shame & condemnation. Ignore Satan who says it doesn’t.

How to cling to Jesus for victory?

Run to Jesus. Ask the Spirit to keep you in a sincere, pure, confident heart. Thank Jesus for loving you & for giving His life as a gift for you. Ask the Spirit to enable you, growing in grace, to give Jesus all your love & loyalty.

How’s the rubber hit the road?

The devil, not God, tempts to evil.

Temptation is outside of you. The blood, & Spirit of Christ enable you to refuse to respond on the inside to the outward temptation.

So, I plan victory like Joseph. When I feel the outward pull on the inside, I refuse to respond to it because I’m dead to sin, alive to God. If I stumble: Stay in faith. Focus on the promises. Don’t let anything distract or confuse me?

“Lord, praise You for the blood, the Spirit & Your Word. Keep me in faith, in the promises, thinking clearly, growing in grace. Amen.”

“Reckon yourselves…dead…to sin…but alive to God (Rom 6:11)”

Repent & Revive Partial Fast: May 2-9. (50-80% normal eating): 2-9, each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
