Can God’s Word guide me as a parent & give my family victory over sin in practical matters like which movies should we watch?

Yes. God’s Word is a lamp to your feet & a light to your path. Some movies are wholesome & safe; others are spiritually dangerous.

3 verses then 3 keys to follow:

1 Cor 10:31- Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Col 3:17- …whatever you do…do all in the name of Jesus giving thanks to God thru Him.

Heb 1:9- …(Jesus) loves righteousness & hates lawlessness.

1st- Do all things to God’s glory.

2nd- Do all things in Jesus name.

3rd- God’s Word defines righteousness & lawlessness clearly & without confusion.

How to apply to which movies?

Parents watch the movie first to apply verses & keys in this way:

Can we watch the message of the movie to the glory of God & give thanks to God in the name of Jesus? Can we guide our children to think clearly & without confusion to discern good & evil?

So, does it inundate with chaos, confusion & twisted priorities or is the message readily shaped to comfort, edify & strengthen?

“Lord, enable me to teach my children & grandchildren to follow You, Lord, in truth with all their hearts (Gen 18:19).”

Repent & Revive Partial Fast: May 2-9. (50-80% normal eating): 2-9, each month Thru 2024 U.S. Elections & Feast of Tabernacles & Thru July 2025. If God’s people cry out for mercy & serve God with prayer & fasting through July 2025 then God’s mercy will triumph over judgment & America will stand with Israel.
