To be clear, I am not excluding anyone. Jesus, Himself, excludes no one, but invites everyone to receive His mercy & grace. But He does require everything, including a life of obedience from followers & this may be offensive or confusing to the curious or casual person.

Either way, we extend our hand to everyone. We invite all to walk with us in one of two ways: First, as a follower of Jesus. Second, as a lover of truth. We’ll give a definition of “truth,” so you’ll know what you’re getting into. Truth defined for lovers of truth:

Truth is the actual state of affairs, contrasted with rumor, false report or mythology. Truth is what’s real, genuine & true. Test all things, “just the facts ma’m,” & determine what is true; as in 2 + 2 =4, is an example of what is true.

Truth defined, lovers of Jesus:

Test all things, determine what’s true by the Word of God, Jesus, the final Judge of what’s true.

Science studies the way that nature works; the way God designed it to work, that is, what normally happens unless the transcendent Word of God, Christ Jesus, expresses Himself through His people in the material world according to God’s kingdom principles.

Research including; psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, relationship, marriage, conflict resolution, business leadership, performance & all others tell us what normally happens:

In other words, they tell us what normally happens when people do those things that prove predictably to be harmful & destructive: Turning the person into a worse person & making the world a worse place, & turning themselves & others into the opposite of Christ as defined in the Word of God:

The fruit (proof) of worse:

Insincere, dishonest, impatient, arrogant, controlling, impulsive, self-centered, harsh, manipulative & refusing to agree to disagree driven by a sense of self-importance. Rather than submitting to & abiding by a well defined standard of good & evil, that applies to all equally; worse seeks power in order to manipulate standards of good & evil, merely, to suit themselves.

In like manner, research tells us what normally happens when people do the things that prove predictably to turn the person into a better person & to make the world a better place by helping themselves & others to thrive, grow & become more like Christ as defined by the Word:

The fruit (proof) of better:

Growing in sincerity, honesty, patience, teach-ability, meekness, self-control, good will & attitude of serving toward others, gentleness of manner toward people, firm & unwavering in expressing the transcendent wisdom, goodness & strength to live in the material world according to God’s kingdom principles, as defined according to the Word.

The transcendent word of God, Jesus, disrupts the culture that insists on human, pagan, secular definitions that serve materialism of the spirit of the world, derived from human wisdom detached from God.

The great writer Solzhenitsyn said, “Good & evil goes through the middle of every human heart.” Whether you realize it or not, every day your choices are either turning you into a worse or better person & the world into a worse or better place.
